How to Use Vinc

Everything you need to get the most out of your digital business card.

What is Vinc?

Vinc is a smart digital business card that replaces traditional paper cards. Your card is a mobile-optimized page with your contact info, social links, QR code, and a lead capture form.

Share it via QR code, NFC tap, or a simple link. Every interaction is tracked so you know who viewed your card, when, and how.

The Vinc Flow

  1. Create your card - Add your name, title, photo, contact details, social links, and branding.
  2. Share it anywhere - Use your QR code, NFC card/band, or direct URL.
  3. Collect leads - Visitors can save your contact or fill out your lead form.
  4. Track everything - Views, QR scans, NFC taps, vCard downloads, and leads are all tracked in your dashboard.
  5. Follow up - Manage leads in your CRM, send intro emails automatically, and grow your network.

Sharing via QR Code

Every card comes with a customizable QR code. Use it on:

  • Business cards and name badges
  • Email signatures (use the Signature Generator)
  • Flyers, brochures, and marketing materials
  • Presentations and pitch decks
  • Social media profiles

QR scans are tracked automatically in your analytics.

Sharing via NFC

Program an NFC card or wristband so anyone can tap their phone to open your digital card instantly. No app needed on the recipient's phone.

Tip: Use ?source=nfc for NFC cards and ?source=band for wristbands to track them separately.

Collecting Leads

When someone visits your card, they can fill out your lead form. Here's how to get the most from it:

  1. Enable the form in your card settings (Step 6 in the card builder).
  2. Customize the button text to match your offer (e.g., "Book a Meeting", "Get My Free Guide").
  3. Set up auto-tags so leads are automatically categorized in your CRM.
  4. Enable intro emails to automatically send a personalized email to new leads.
  5. Enable notifications to get an email every time someone submits the form.

Intro Emails

Vinc can automatically send a personalized email to anyone who fills out your lead form. Choose from predefined templates or write your own.

You can also set a delay (1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour) so the email arrives naturally rather than instantly.

Reviews

Enable the reviews section to let visitors leave feedback on your card. Reviews are moderated, so you choose which ones to publish.

Manage reviews from the Reviews dashboard. You can also manually add reviews from existing clients.

Analytics

Your Dashboard shows:

  • Card Views - Total page visits
  • QR Scans - Views from QR code scans
  • NFC Taps - Views from NFC card and band taps
  • vCard Downloads - How many people saved your contact
  • Leads - Form submissions with contact details
  • Device & location data - Know where your contacts are coming from

Best Practices

  • Use a professional photo - First impressions matter.
  • Keep your bio concise - Focus on what you do and how you help.
  • Add specialities - Help visitors quickly understand your expertise.
  • Carry your NFC card everywhere - Networking happens when you least expect it.
  • Follow up quickly - The sooner you respond to a lead, the better the conversion.
  • Ask for reviews - Social proof builds trust with new contacts.
  • Check your analytics weekly - Understand what's working and optimize.
